Educational Qualification Necessary for Admission:
A) DIRECT II YEAR (Lateral Entry / MPEC)
1. Plus 2 ACADEMIC: A Pass in HSC or equivalent, With Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry as subjects of study and HSC Science group
2. Plus 2 VOCATIONAL: A Pass in HSC or equivalent, with atleast one of the subjects Mathematics,Physics or Chemistry and related Engineering subjects as Subjects of study
3. ITI: Two Years I.T.I after SSLC with Certificate from NCVT in appropriate trade

B) FIRST YEAR:
1. A Pass in SSLC Public Examination conducted by Government of Tamilnadu or its Equivalent

The 10th passed out students or students with equivalent qualification and the students who have passed HSC Vocational / Academic of Tamil Nadu state or who have equivalent qualification and the students who have passed 10th standard with 2 years I.T.I (NCVT) with appropriate specialization can download the application form and send the filled in form along with a crossed Demand Draft worth Rs.150/= as application fee in the name of PRINCIPAL, SANKAR POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE payable at TIRUNELVELI to

The SC/ST students can send the filled in application form without application fee. However SC/ST students should attach the photocopy of community certificate as a proof. No other enclosures are needed.
