One representative of the faculty is to be nominated by the Principal of the Institution to hold office for a period of two years.

One representative is to be nominated for a period of two years by the Governing Council.

Two representatives of the Board of Technical Examinations are to be nominated by the Chairman, Board of Technical Examinations, for a period of two years.

The Principal of the institution is the Chairman and Convener of the Academic Board and shall, on the advice of the State Board of Technical Education, initiate steps to form the Academic Board as prescribed. Non-official members of the Academic Board shall not hold office for more than two successive termsThe Principal of the institution is the Chairman and Convener of the Awards Committee and shall, on the advice of the State Board of Technical Education, initiate steps to form the committee as prescribed.
