Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging squad
According to the provision of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) norms, the Anti- Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad are formed with the following members with the aim to prevent and to curb the menace of Ragging among the students by making surprise visits.

Functions of the Anti-Ragging Committee:
Information has been given in our polytechnic calendar about the formation of anti-ragging committee to prevent the ragging in the campus.
Proper illumination is made in the entire campus.
Security personnel have been directed to have strict vigil on the students and prevent the occurrence of ragging of any sort.
Flex banners about the punishments for ragging to exhort the students not to indulge in ragging have been placed in prominent places in our campus.
Ragging complaint box is provided in prominent location and the receipt of complaint is being monitored by the team to take necessary action.
The banners indicating the names of the anti-ragging committee officials with their contact mobile numbers have been prominently displayed in the campus.
Affidavits against the ragging have been obtained from students and their parents/guardian.
