Rules and Regulations

1. Identity Card and Uniform

Students must wear their identity card and uniform at all times within the college campus.

2. Punctuality and Discipline

Students should reach their respective lecture halls at least five minutes before the bell and maintain silence. They are expected to behave decently both on and off the campus to protect the institution’s reputation.

3. Campus Movement Restrictions

Leaving the campus during working hours is not allowed without an out-pass approved by the Head of the Department and submitted at the security gate.

4. Classroom Conduct

Entering or exiting the classroom without the teacher’s permission is not permitted. Students must maintain discipline even in the absence of a teacher. Loitering in the college premises during class hours is strictly prohibited.

5. Property and Infrastructure Care

Lost or misplaced items must be handed over to the office. Students are responsible for college property and should not damage or deface it in any manner. Writing or scratching on desks, benches, walls, or floors is strictly prohibited. In cases of damage, the whole class may be held accountable and fined.

6. Protecting the Institution’s Reputation

Any behaviour that harms the college’s image, either directly or indirectly, will lead to severe disciplinary action.

7. Cleanliness and Cooperation

Students must contribute to keep the college premises clean and tidy at all times.

8. Prohibited Activities

Students are not allowed to collect money for any reason without getting permission from the department and Principal. Political activities are strictly banned. Circulating notices or writing on the notice board, walls, or blackboards without approval is not allowed.

9. Meetings and Assemblies

Holding meetings or assemblies without getting prior permission from the department and Principal is strictly prohibited.

10. Entry of Outsiders

Students must not invite outsiders into the campus. However, for extracurricular or co-curricular activities, the Principal may grant permission.

11. Substance Abuse and Ragging

Smoking, drinking, drug use, and other vices are strictly prohibited. Offenders will be dismissed. Ragging of any kind, whether inside or outside the campus, is a criminal offense and will be reported to the police. Students found guilty will be expelled from the college.

12. Restricted Areas

Students are not allowed to enter the college office or staff rooms during unspecified hours.

13. Disruption and Misconduct

Any student who prevents others from attending classes, incites unrest, or disobeys faculty orders will be expelled. Violating any rules or regulations will result in strict action by the Principal.

14. Notices and Announcements

Students are expected to regularly check the college notice board and college website for official updates and instructions.



POLICIES AND PROCESSES

Several key policies and initiatives are in place to ensure safety, sustainability, student welfare, and infrastructure efficiency.

1.Anti-Ragging Policy

Strict anti-ragging measures are in place to foster a safe and welcoming environment. Preventive actions, monitoring mechanisms, and awareness programs help maintain a ragging-free campus.

2. Waste Management Policy

Waste management is governed by an organized policy involving housekeeping through private contractors, regular waste segregation (biodegradable and non – biodegradable), and weekly waste removal by the municipal corporation. Red tape area is provided for departmental waste disposal.

3. Green Campus Policy

The institution actively promotes eco-friendly practices, including the use of green spaces, minimal plastic usage, and sustainability awareness among students and staff.

4. Feedback Policy

A formal feedback system is implemented to gather input from students, faculty, and stakeholders, enabling continuous academic and infrastructural improvement.

5. Mentor–Mentee Policy

The mentor–mentee system supports students’ academic progress and personal development through regular guidance and counselling from assigned faculty members.

6. Electricity Management Policy

Efficient power management is achieved through initiatives such as power factor correction, automatic power factor controllers (APFC), and the use of our own 100 kVA transformer. Each department is provided with individual distribution boxes. Routine electrical maintenance is conducted, and a 62.5 kVA generator provides reliable backup power.

7. Water Management Policy

The institution ensures water sustainability through two interconnected wells provide with submersible motors, individual pipelines, two storage tanks, and a centralized tank for Reverse Osmosis (RO) system to provide clean drinking water. The waste water from RO system is used for gardening purpose.

8. Security and Safety Policy

Security is maintained through CCTV surveillance and campus-wide monitoring. Student safety is prioritized with helpline access and emergency response measures. Fire safety equipment, first-aid kits, and electrical safety devices like Earth Leakage Circuit Breakers (ELCBs) are installed. Additionally, lightning arresters are in place to protect campus infrastructure.
