Library Automation and OPAC

Since June 2017, the Sankar Polytechnic College Library has achieved full automation using the ModernLib software, significantly enhancing service efficiency and user experience. A key feature of this modernization is the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) facility. This user-friendly digital system empowers all students and staff to independently search the library's vast collection, retrieve real-time availability status, and pinpoint the exact location of any book on the shelves, making the process of finding needed resources faster and more convenient than ever before.
